That Time I Met Coco Rocha
A few months back I was lucky enough to meet the famous model Coco Rocha, and yes she is as nice in person as she appears! I was invited to a pre meet and greet prior to her book signing at Holt Renfrew. There were only a handful of people in the room so I had a chance to speak to her one on one. She is such a lovely person and so down-to-earth for someone that has had such success in the fashion industry. I was also given a copy of her book, Study of Pose, which is an awesome coffee table book.

Summer Dreaming
{Gladiator Sandals - Stuart Weitzman; Floral Sweater - Wildfox; Shorts - one teaspoon; Bag - Prada; Shoes - All black; Printed jacket - Top Shop}
I don't know about you, but I cannot wait for the warmer weather to come. Which unfortunately for me will still be awhile off out here in Canada. I have been dreaming about wearing florals, shorts and gladiator sandals for months now, and they are all eagerly purchased and waiting in my closet. A few trends I am excited about for summer 2015 include, distressed denim, boyfriend jeans, florals, gladiator sandals to the knee, military green and soft flowy fabrics.
What are you most excited to wear this summer?

Spiralized Fresh Cucumber Salad Recipe
I don't usually post recipes on the blog but this one was so healthy and delicious I had to share.
Over the past few months I have been trying to eat healthier, eating Vegan at least a few times a week. To help switch things up I purchased a Spiralizer which can turn almost any vegetable into a noodle. I was inspired by a recipe I saw online, made a few adjustments and voila! Super quick and easy.
Recipe:
Ingredients
1 large seedless cucumber
1 cup of chopped strawberries
1 ripe avocado, diced
1 cup of chopped watermelon
1 teaspoon of honey
1 fresh squeezed lime
1. Cut whole cucumber in half and spiralize (or grate) each half into a bowl
2. Combine ingredients, whisk together the honey and lime juice and toss over salad

Fausto Puglisi: Holt Renfrew Event
During Toronto Fashion Week I was lucky enough to be invited to meet a new designer, Fausto Puglisi; an up and coming fashion designer hailing from Italy. Holt Renfrew debuted his fashion forward line during Fashion Week and I attended the after party celebrating his entry into the Canadian market place. Fashion professionals, bloggers flocked from all over the city to meet Fausto, so needless to say I felt pretty honoured being invited. Unfortunately, during our short conversation I didn't get a picture with him but I did manage to snap a few throughout the evening.

Fall Decorating Inspiration
One of my absolute favourite times of the year to decorate is fall. I love the cozy fabrics, rich hues and most of all halloween decor. I am especially loving that this year white pumpkins are becoming more available - definitely a nice change from the traditional orange. Below are a few fun ways to decorate for fall.
How do you like to decorate for fall?

Artwork Dilemma
When I moved into my house I had no problem finding furniture and other decorative pieces that worked well together. But the one thing I have had a really hard time finding is artwork. I have looked at a ton of different places but everything I have found just missed the mark - too traditional or too modern. Since buying my home I have really got into reading interior design blogs which have given me lots of inspiration. I have discovered that I really like typgraphic and digital art pieces, which give a minimalist modern feel to a space but also add a personal touch. Below are a few spaces and pieces I have fallen in love with..
What style of art do you have hanging on your walls?

And that's all my iphone has to say about that...
The past few weeks have been pretty crazy, getting settled into my new home, painting, unpacking and picking up the last few items from my home wish list. Although I still feel like there's a lot to do it's finally starting to feel like home. This past weekend I finally had my house warming party which was a lot of work but totally worth it. We also enjoyed the fall weather and went to Chudleigh's Apple Farm and went on a hay ride, fed the farm animals and got a white pumpkin!
Apparently I have really been feeling moustache's this month!

Fall Trends: Faux Fur
If there is one thing that adds an element of interest to a room or makes a boring outfit more fabulous it’s faux fur. I absolutely love adding a dash of faux fur into a room as a way to add interest and texture without adding too much pattern. I purchased a fur vest from Michael Kors last year and I can't wait to take it out of my closet.
