That Time I Met Coco Rocha
A few months back I was lucky enough to meet the famous model Coco Rocha, and yes she is as nice in person as she appears! I was invited to a pre meet and greet prior to her book signing at Holt Renfrew. There were only a handful of people in the room so I had a chance to speak to her one on one. She is such a lovely person and so down-to-earth for someone that has had such success in the fashion industry. I was also given a copy of her book, Study of Pose, which is an awesome coffee table book.

Summer Dreaming
{Gladiator Sandals - Stuart Weitzman; Floral Sweater - Wildfox; Shorts - one teaspoon; Bag - Prada; Shoes - All black; Printed jacket - Top Shop}
I don't know about you, but I cannot wait for the warmer weather to come. Which unfortunately for me will still be awhile off out here in Canada. I have been dreaming about wearing florals, shorts and gladiator sandals for months now, and they are all eagerly purchased and waiting in my closet. A few trends I am excited about for summer 2015 include, distressed denim, boyfriend jeans, florals, gladiator sandals to the knee, military green and soft flowy fabrics.
What are you most excited to wear this summer?

Fausto Puglisi: Holt Renfrew Event
During Toronto Fashion Week I was lucky enough to be invited to meet a new designer, Fausto Puglisi; an up and coming fashion designer hailing from Italy. Holt Renfrew debuted his fashion forward line during Fashion Week and I attended the after party celebrating his entry into the Canadian market place. Fashion professionals, bloggers flocked from all over the city to meet Fausto, so needless to say I felt pretty honoured being invited. Unfortunately, during our short conversation I didn't get a picture with him but I did manage to snap a few throughout the evening.

Cool Hunting: Chan Luu
Happy Tuesday! Sorry I have been a little mia lately, life has gotten a little crazy!
Chan Luu is jewelry designer that I have been obsessed with for some time now, and I realized I have never featured her on my blog before. She is well known for her beautiful wrap bracelets which come in an array of hand cut semi-precious stones, Swarovski crystals, sterling silver, gold vermeil, and custom dyed leathers. Prices range from $100 for a single wrap and go as high as $400. I absolutely love how she uses organic materials and semi precious stones to create something so beautiful and contemporary.

I plan on investing in a blue or dark grey one!

Wardrobe Glimpse
I recently moved back home with my parents so I can start saving to buy a house. In doing so I inherited my first walk-in closet! I thought I would share some pictures so you could get a glimpse of my wardrobe! (It was a lot more organized before I looked at the pictures, so I apologize for the clutter!) As you can see I am currently obsessed with vibrant colour. I love the idea of adding a pop of colour to an outfit to give it that fashion forward edge. Typically in the winter colours are more muted but this winter the bright hues we saw in the summer are carrying over to winter as well.

Topshop in Canada
I feel so out of the loop - I just found out that Topshop is opening at the department store The Bay in Canada! I am so unbelievably excited, and what is even more exciting is that the Toronto Queen Street location has already opened! The Yorkdale mall location is also opening October 5th. For those of you who aren't familiar with Topshop, it is clothing/accessory store based out of the UK which offers trendy affordable collections. Even though I have never been able to actually order anything off of their website I have still managed to go onto their website to browse and covet their pieces on almost a weekly basis. I am beyond excited that I can now own some of them!

Look of the Week
Cream Tunic - Zara; Leggings - Aritzia; Watch - Michael Kors, Belt - Marciano
This week has been pretty cold and rainy, but it has been nice to get a little taste of fall and to be able to wear some of the chunky knits I purchased for the fall. This weekend is supposed to be beautiful so I am hoping to head to my cottage to enjoy probably the last weekend of summer weather. I was also able to do some shopping this week and I am super excited because I got a steal on a pair of Gucci ballerina flats - I will definitely post a picture of them! What is everyone up to this weekend?

Karl Lagerfeld Macys Collection
Fashion legend, Karl Lagerfeld teamed up with Macy's to create his capsule collection, and it is finally in stores today! I am absolutely in love with this collection and you can definitely see Chanel influences in almost every piece. With prices ranging from $50.00- $170.00 (a fraction of the cost of Chanel) it is an affordable way to get the classic elegance which is Karl Lagerfeld. My absolute favourite model Coco Rocha is also apart of the campaign, which I love!
A trip to the States is definitely in order!

Weekend Beading
We went to the cottage this weekend to relax, unwind and to celebrate our one year anniversary. We haven't been able to go up the last few weekends so it was really nice to get away. While I was up there I managed to find some time to do some beading and make some jewelry pieces tailored for the fall.
Below are the pieces that I made this weekend:
As you can probably tell I love skulls and bright vibrant colours. I am really loving burgundy and hunter green for the fall. I was also really excited to find rose gold beads so I could make a wrap bracelet to match all of my rose gold jewelry.
I also managed to do a little bit of shopping! I made my first fall purchase and got these shoes from Town Shoes. I love the colour and also the eclectic take on the classic loafer.

Shimmer and Sparkle
I finally convinced my boyfriend to take some pictures of my outfit, so I have decided to start posting my outfits - hopefully on a weekly basis. Below is an outfit I wore up at the cottage/ shopping today. I made a trip to the bead store, so I will be posting my new pieces by the end of the weekend!
Top: H&M, Shorts: Michael Kors, Shoes: Sam Edelman, Watch: Michael Kors
This Peacock wondered over while we were taking pictures and of course we had to get a few shots of it. We figured out that it was a female based on her colouring, so we named her Mary.

Fall Wishlist
Lately you can really feel the crisp chill in the air at night - no doubt a sign that Fall is approaching. It is sad to see the summer come to an end but at the same time I am also excited because I absolutely love fall fashion. Chunky knits, scarves, boots and coats.
Below are a few items I can't wait to get my hands on for the fall...
A girl can dream...!

Outside the Jewelry Box...
I love the idea of finding new ways to organize jewelry rather than just a simple jewelry box. Jewelry is a work of art so I love the idea of displaying it for people to see.
Below are a few ideas I have come across...

Gypsy Love
Gypsy influences have definitely made their way into this summers fashion repertoire - headscarves, beaded bracelets, rustic bottles, silver coin jewellery, feet tattoos, capes, braids and anklets.
